riginally from Texas, Alexia grew up playing elite soccer and was able to continue her pursuit of excellence as a student athlete at Baylor University. Alexia studied International Business and Marketing at Baylor in Waco, Texas graduating in 2003.

After completing her studies in Texas, she pursued the study of law at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana graduating in 2006.  While in New Orleans she discovered her passion for public service and continued that pursuit as part of the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council Honors Program in Augusta, Georgia.  For over 10 years, she zealously represented her clients and trained new attorneys in both her office and statewide under Georgia’s Transition into Law Practice Program. Alexia advocated as lead counsel in more than 40 jury trials including murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault, obstruction, child molestation, and drug trafficking cases.

In 2016, she completed the Leadership Augusta program and continued to branch out in varying leadership roles across the community.  She is active in a number of civic organizations including Boys and Girls Club, Greater Augusta Arts Council, Dream Builders of America’s Youth, and Leadership Augusta.  She currently serves as the 2018 Vice President for the Augusta Bar Association. Additionally, she serves on the Welcome Ministry as a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Alexia is a dedicated servant to the Augusta community and strives to uplift it one citizen at a time. Alexia is no stranger to teamwork and recognizes the power of engaging multiple minds to solve a problem.  Davis, Chapman, and Wilder, LLC will harness that power in representing its clients.
