EDUCATION
J.D., Georgia State University, School of Law, 2008
B.S., Chemical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, 2004
Although she initially worked for a small civil firm, she knew that she wanted to pursue other opportunities. Her passion for justice and defending the rights of individuals made criminal law a natural choice. Over the past ten years, she has participated in approximately fifty trials, twenty-four of which she served as lead counsel. The nature of the charges in these trials ranged from misdemeanor shoplifting and obstruction of a law enforcement officer to aggravated assault, armed robbery, child molestation, and murder. Holly has represented over a thousand people with criminal charges, assisting them with sentencings, revocations, motion hearings, trials, and appeals. She is licensed to practice in the magistrate, state, and superior courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the federal court in the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia.
Not only is Holly an experienced trial attorney in the criminal defense arena but she also works diligently to assist her clients with their family law needs, whether it be divorce, child custody and support, legitimation, or adoption. Her years in the courtroom, her well-honed negotiation skills, and her compassion for her clients are invaluable in securing the best possible outcome for those she represents.
As a member of the Augusta community, she has enjoyed participating in local organizations, including the Augusta Bar Association, Young Lawyers of Augusta, Mock Trial, Friends of the Augusta Library, Junior League of Augusta, and Leadership Augusta (Class of 2016). She is the current president of the Augusta Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Holly resides in Augusta with her husband, Mike, and their daughters.
